Crafty Ribbon Challenge #12

This time we were sent cherry ribbons and were asked to make 2 projects using the ribbon. I decided on a little easter basket and a 'Cherry' Fairy Birthday card!

A card for my mum and a challenge...

Well i am being quite organised here, but i just loved this Greetings Farm image so much and i thought it was perfect for my mum! I also really love these paper roses from wild orchid crafts - so pretty. I made a plain box for the card to go in (following instructions in Magnolia Ink magazine issue 2) as the flowers are so big! This card is for entry in the Anyone for Anya - flower power challenge:



Also i have my very first follower!! Couldnt believe it! And may I say what a beautiful name you have :)

I love Promarkers - Challenge #1

Something a little different.

This card is something I would never have thought to do and that is why I love doing blog challenges. This card is entering 2 challenges, firstly Anyone for Anya Challenge Good Enough to Eat - my colours are based on my favourite snack Blueberry Muffins so I used different blues and brown. The second challenge is following a sketch from Friday sketchers which can be found here

My first new baby card

So this is my little card for a new baby girl. I got this stamp a little while ago from Pink Gem Designs, its so cute - the sentiment circle is also from Pink Gem Designs. I am entering this card into 2 challenges - firstly A Gem of a Challenge's very first challenge, we were given a sketch to follow and asked to use one of their stamps and be pink! The other challenge i am entering this in is Allsorts Challenge Week 39 - we were asked to include 3 of something, 2 of something else and 1 of something else. I have included 3 flowers, 2 different patterned paper and 1 image. So here's my card:

Passion for Promarkers Challenge #37

I made this card for the challenge but i think it will be a great valentines day card for my boyfriend - just hope the pink isnt too girly!!

Hearts for hearts sake

Well I dont need any excuse to be girly, pink or include hearts so I loved these challenges! This is my first entry in the Anyone for Anya challenge and also in the Secret Crafter Challenge. I've included 2 different types of heart paper, 2 different heart punches, an Anya Love stamp and little hearts around the sentiment.

Passion for Promarkers Challenge #36

Im new to Promarkers so my collection is very limited - so I was very happy to be able to take part in this weeks challenge as I have both the colours!! Hehe.

This weeks challenge was to make a card using the colours Pastel Green and Blossom. I really enjoyed making this little card - and I got a chance to practice my shading.

A Day of Craft Firsts!

So my exams are over and i actually have a day off. Ive been buying lots of craft supplies ready for when I have more time so ive got lots of new things to try.


Firstly, promarkers! Everyone seems to love these so i bought myself a selection and this is my first attempt:
So im not brilliant at shading and im not familiar with what colours work well together (Any advice greatly appreciated!!) but ok for a first attempt right??!

My next first is taking part in a Challenge - this ones for 2 challenges - over on Passion for Promarkers were the theme was to do a girly card and for Crafty Ribbons. For Crafty Ribbons I have to create two projects using their valentines ribbon. Here is my first project using the stamp above:

So I have to think of another project with their ribbon then I can send it to them. Its been a lovely relaxing day so glad my exams are done, now just waiting for the results.....maybe I shoud craft a bit more to destract myself!
